Freshta Soltero’s journey through the food and beverage industry is a remarkable tale of ambition, dedication, and resilience. As a first-generation woman with Afghan heritage, Freshta's up bringing was infused with the rich culinary traditions and hospitality of Afghanistan, which her family carried with them to their new home. This foundation instilled in Freshta a profound appreciation for food's ability to bring people together, setting the stage for her future career.
Freshta's professional path began with a modest yet pivotal role as a room service server in a hotel in San Diego. Despite the demands of this entry-level position, she quickly distinguished herself through her exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and genuine care for guest satisfaction. Her determination and hard work paid off as she ascended the ranks, moving from room service to becoming the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage in San Diego. Then moving back to Las Vegas, she continued to move up the ranks while working at Bellagio, The Cosmopolitan, and Palms Casino. In each food and beverage team she was instrumental in transforming the dining experience into one that celebrated her dedication and resilience to being the best.
Balancing her demanding career with her personal life, Freshta is also a devoted wife and mother of four children. Married for 12 years, she has mastered the art of juggling her professional responsibilities with her family life, embodying the role of a nurturing mother and a supportive partner. Despite the challenges of managing a busy household and a thriving career, Freshta's ambition never waned. She pursued further education, working tirelessly towards completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), set to graduate in May 2024. This degree represents not only her personal interests in health and wellness but also her commitment to integrating her nursing knowledge into her culinary endeavors.
Her success in all her Food and Beverage roles was a steppingstone to her ultimate role as General Manager. In this capacity, Freshta oversees all aspects of the food and beverage operations, drawing on her extensive experience to lead with innovation, efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. As she looks forward to completing her BSN, Freshta continues to inspire those around her, proving that with dedication and love for one's roots, any dream is within reach.
