Myrna Prendes has lived in Las Vegas for almost 40 years. Myrna started her career in the hospitality business at the Mirage in 1992. She quickly moved up to various managerial roles which include Food and Beverage, Pool Operations and Front Desk for MGM Grand, Green Valley Ranch, and Red Rock Casino.
Myrna moved up to Director of Food and Beverage at the Plaza Hotel where she undertook a complete hotel renovation. In addition to being Director of Food and Beverage she was also Director of Entertainment. Myrna oversaw department and operations for 7 bars, pool and catering. She was responsible for managing employee schedules, inventory, order fulfillment, and staffing. She hired and managed all aspects of entertainment throughout the property to include showroom, DJ’s and live lounge bands.
Myrna moved to the Palms Hotel and Casino in 2017 where she was Director of Beverage. She was responsible for organizing, planning, and directing hotel bars. Liaised with hotel executives on various aspects of property re-brand. In 2020 Myrna became the Assistant General Manager for Scotch 80 where she oversaw all facets of restaurant operations.
Myrna has since moved to Operations Manager for Barry’s Downtown Prime where she utilizes all her years of experience to bring an exceptional experience to restaurant goers.
